The IGERT program offers additional opportunities:

IGERT fellows are supported for three years, receiving:

  • Annual stipend of $30,000
  • Health benefits
  • University fees paid
  • In-state or out-of-state tuition paid
  • Annual supplement (generally $1,000) to purchase books, computers, supplies, etc...

IGERT fellows are then supported by other fund sources for the remainder of their graduate program.
